15% Of Kuwaitis Are Millionaires: Report
Kuwait has one of the highest proportion of millionaires in the world, according to a report online. According to data presented by the World of Statistics, 15 per cent of the nation’s citizens are millionaires. This puts the country in third place behind Switzerland (15.5%) and Hong Kong (15.3%).
Defining a millionaire as somebody with assets of more than $1m the World of Statistics data was shared with more than 2.7m followers of the @stats_feed Twitter account. Qatar was second in the region, with the data showing three per cent of citizens being classed as a millionaire.
