Bahrain: Additional lines for public bus network starting November 6
The Ministry of Transport and Communications announced the addition and operation of new lines within the public transport bus network to serve all regions of Bahrain, starting from November 6.
The operation comes from the Ministry’s plan to provide a public transport service for all users.
The plan includes coverage of the public transport network for Manama, Sitra, Riffa, and the Southern Governorate, in addition to all the towns of Muharraq Governorate, Isa Town, Salman City, Budaiya and Saar, in order to ensure the arrival of these additional transport lines.
Director of Land Transport Planning and Studies Department, Hussain Ali Yaqoub said the ministry strives to provide public transport services to facilitate the movement of users through coordination with the Bahrain Public Transport Company.
He added that mobile Internet services and special seats for people of determination, and for women are provided.
