The High Criminal Court punished three young men with prison terms along with fines for making Molotov cocktails and setting fire garbage containers and trash in the Sanabis area. The defendants received jail terms ranging between one and three years behind bars.
They were also fined amounts between BD100 and BD500. The convicted men were arrested after one of them stumbled while trying to flee the scene when members of the security forces arrived.
