Bahrain’s cueist, Nahla Al Sunni, today clinched the gold medal in the 9-ball pool competition of the Arab Billiards and Snooker Championship, currently hosted by Jordan.
In an all-Bahraini final, Al Sunni beat her compatriot, Mai Al Dosari, who also won the silver medal.
Al Sunni and Al Dosari also qualified for the second round of the 10-ball pool competition.
In the men’s 10-ball pool competition, Hussain and Haidar Maroon also made it to the last 16.
Meanwhile, world champion Habib Sabah, who already won the gold medal in the 6-ball competition, has a chance to add a similar medal, as he qualified for the semi-final of the individual snooker competition.
