Feel good: Dubai police grant boy’s wish to be a police officer

Eisa Ali Al Beloushi, Emirati father of Abdullah, tweeted last week a video of his son asking the police to grant his wish that he could have his very own Dubai Police uniform as he already has a military uniform.

The father, who is based in Ras Al Khaimah, was surprised when a tailor visited them and took the measurements of his son and on August 27, took his son to Dubai Police headquarters to get the uniform while on a tour.

Major General Abdullah Khalifa Al Merri welcomed the boy and handed him the uniform in the presence of Amna Al Banna, Director of Social Media Networks Department in Dubai Police. The boy, who is in Grade 4 in a Ras Al Khaimah school, was beaming after he donned the uniform and pulled himself up to a desk. His father posted more videos about his son while walking in police headquarters with his uniform before heading back to Ras Al Khaimah.
