Kuwait Deports 100 Expats in Just 2 Months for Traffic Violation

Deportation decisions were issued against about 100 expatriates in just two months; because they committed serious traffic violations like driving without a license, speeding, recklessness on the road or using personal vehicles for transporting passengers.

Sources added Director of the General Traffic Department in the Interior Ministry Major General Youssef Al-Khada has instructed traffic patrol officers to strictly implement the traffic regulations. Sources disclosed a comprehensive plan is being implemented in areas where a large number of expatriates are residing or working.

The plan includes checking driving licenses and durability of vehicles, as well as taking legal measures against those who committed violations including deportation for expatriates who commit grave traffic violations, sources concluded.
