Kuwait revealed that in the last 5 years, 13,000 expats working in the government sector were terminated. Expats working in various government agencies had reached 79,000.
With new rules of Kuwaitization as per 5 year plan coming into force, the expats’ figures have come down to 66,000, with most of them working in the Ministry of Health and Education.
