Mode Dubai Fashion Event Postponed to April 2024

“This decision is rooted in a deep sense of empathy and sensitivity towards the ongoing humanitarian crisis in the region,” the organiser said in a media statement.

All current tickets will remain valid for the April 2024 event, and the team eagerly anticipates welcoming guests and participating brands to Mode Dubai in the coming year, the statement said.

“After closely monitoring the situation, we have decided to postpone Mode Dubai to a more appropriate time. It doesn’t feel right to proceed with the event amidst this period of grief and loss,” Tommy Lee, Managing Director of Mode Dubai, said.

“Our top priority remains the well-being and comfort of all involved, including our valued guests, designers, partners, and participants. We are unwavering in our commitment to providing a secure and inclusive environment for everyone to celebrate the artistry and creativity of the fashion world,” he added.

Fashion enthusiasts and professionals can anticipate that the rescheduled dates in April will deliver the same dynamic and inspiring concept that was originally promised, Lee said.

The management extends sincere gratitude to all supporters, participants, and ticket holders for their understanding and continued enthusiasm, the company statement said.

Earlier, the company revealed that ace fashion designers and show directors Kevin Oliver, Ryan Pacioles, and Marietta Behnisch, as well as Dubai Bling star Farhana Bodi, would be part of an impressive line of global lifestyle brands at the event.

Iconic American women’s clothing brand L Space, popular British jewellery maker for everyday styling Tutti & Co and high-end Danish luxury fashion brand Rosa Faizzad were also listed among the global brands from the fashion and lifestyle world to be featured on the catwalks of the originally scheduled event in December.
