Oman: Coast Guard Police Thwart Smuggling Attempt, Three Arrested

Three people have been arrested while they were trying to smuggle more than 70 kilograms of drugs in the Wilayat of Quriyat.

Royal Oman Police said: “The Coast Guard Police Command arrested three people of two Asian nationalities near the coast of Quriyat State while they were trying to smuggle more than 29 kilograms of crystal meth and 47 kilograms of hashish, and the legal procedures are underway.”
