Oman: Violators Arrested for Hunting Arabian Gazelle

Several people were arrested for hunting the Arabian gazelle in Muscat Governorate, said the Environment Authority (EA) on Tuesday, November 14, 2023.

The Authority said in a statement, “The Environment Authority, in cooperation with the Royal Oman Police, was able to arrest a number of wildlife violators while they were hunting 5 heads of Arabian gazelle in Muscat Governorate. The seized items were confiscated, and legal procedures are being completed against them by the competent authorities.”
