Over 11,000 Bottles of Alcoholic Beverages Seized in Oman

Oman Customs has seized more than 11,500 bottles of alcoholic beverages in the North and South Al Batinah Governorates.

“The Department of Compliance and Risk Assessment raided a site for expatriate workers in the Wilayat of Sohar that stores large quantities of alcoholic beverages. It also seized in the Wilayat of Barka a truck loaded with alcoholic beverages. The seizures in both of them amounted to more than 11,500 bottles of alcoholic beverages,” Oman Customs said in a statement.
