Saudi Arabia: 62 facilities closed for violating COVID-19 protocols

Out of 3,832 monitoring rounds on Tuesday to follow up on compliance with precautionary measures, 66 violations were spotted and 62 facilities were closed.

Violations ranged from failure in maintaining safe distances between customers and not wearing masks properly.

The facilities also failed to check the customers’ temperatures and ignored the obligation to show their immunization status in the “Tawakkalna” App while entering a facility.

Customers were advised to comply with precautionary measures and report any violations to the Jeddah Municipality.
