Saudi Arabia: SAMI and Airbus Helicopter sign agreement

Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI) Company signed an agreement with Airbus Helicopter Arabia.

Airbus Global’s arm in the Middle East and North Africa aims to build its technical abilities in the field of helicopters, SPA reported.

SAMI CEO Waleed bin Abdulmajeed Abukhalid stressed the importance of the agreement to support SAMI endeavors in the field of technology and localization of human capital through intensive training.

Airbus Helicopter Arabia CEO Michael Pertrand praised this cooperation and confirmed the company’s commitment to transfer the helicopter technology to the Saudi defense system.
