Rather than catching the tube or hailing a taxi, this mega-rich tourist opted for a more outlandish mode of transport when visiting London. The young billionaire arrived in the capital with a fleet of gold cars worth more than $1.2 million.
That’s right, the entire fleet of exotic rides owned by the Saudi billionaire is wrapped in vinyl – and there’s a model for every occasion.
For starters, there’s a $462,000 Mercedes-AMG G63 6×6 – a vehicle more suited to Saudi Arabia’s sand dunes than the congested streets of Kensington.
Next up is a Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupe – a two-door version of the world’s most desirable limousine.
Under the hood of the $437,000 über-luxurious coupe is a 6.75-litre engine, capable of 155 mph (249 km/h).
But, no ‘real’ car collection would be complete without a supercar.
That’s why the young Saudi billionaire – believed to be in his twenties, has a Lamborghini Aventador SV.
Worth around $437,000, the Lambo has a 6.5-liter V12 engine, accelerating from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in just 2.7 seconds, going on to reach a top speed of 217 mph (349 km/h).
The Saudi gearhead also brought along his Bentley Flying Spur customized by Mansory.
Worth $275,000, the four-door limousine is no slouch, with a top speed of 200 mph (322 km/h).
If the truth be told, the Saudi billionaire isn’t the only wealthy luxury car owner to arrive from the Middle East with their collection of flash rides.
Every year, foreign supercars arrive in London and are spotted driving around the city’s affluent streets.
It’s believed the owners pay in excess of $25,000 to fly their vehicles around 3,000 miles (4,828 km) to London.
