The Perfect Fit

The story of Hilton Bespoke: Crafting unique suits for every individual

In 1970, Joseph Francis D’Souza, an ambitious young tailor, established Hilton Tailors in Manama, Bahrain. With a focus on men’s tailoring, the business quickly became synonymous with superior quality and craftsmanship on the island.

In 2011, George Joseph D’Souza, following in his father’s footsteps, founded Hilton Bespoke, carrying forward the legacy of top-notch clothing and catering to a diverse clientele that includes business professionals, bankers, CEOs, and managers, among others.

George expanded the customisation options to reach a wider customer base, combining his father’s expertise and his own pattern-cutting skills honed under a Savile Row master in Ireland. The shop first opened its doors in Zinj, followed by a new branch in the Diplomatic Area, both offering a range of tailor-made designs.

Creating bespoke garments means providing adequate choice to the customer to add his style to the clothing. It’s about designing a piece from a blank canvas. The craft involves creating a pattern that’s designed specifically for each individual.

George proudly states, “We leave no stone unturned in our pursuit of excellence, whether it’s using imported inner canvas from Italy, buttons sourced from the heart of Italy, threads from Germany, or high-quality lining materials.”

What sets Hilton Bespoke apart in the Bahrain market is the wide range of brands it offers. With labels like Loro Piana, Zegna, Cerruti, Reda, Dormeuil, and Scabal in their catalogue, customers appreciate the discerning elements of quality and craftsmanship.

One of their greatest challenges is effectively conveying the exceptional quality of their craftsmanship and what makes Hilton Bespoke stand out from other tailoring businesses. However, the business firmly believes that consistently delivering top-notch quality at competitive prices is the most effective form of advertising.

Creating a suit for a special occasion requires meticulous attention to detail, a quality ingrained in the Hilton Bespoke team. They stay up-to-date with the latest fashion trends, source the finest fabrics, and participate in textile fairs worldwide to ensure each piece is tailored to perfection.

George expresses joy when satisfied clients share their exceptional experiences with friends and family. “It not only fills us with happiness but also strengthens our commitment to delivering exceptional service and suits tailored to the style and tastes of our customers,” he says.
