Take part in these unique features of this one of a kind military show.

The Bahrain International Defence Exhibition & Conference (BIDEC 2017) will take place on 16-18 October 2017 at the Bahrain International Exhibition & Convention Centre. BIDEC 2017 not only features an exhibition of 120+ exhibitors, it will also feature a host of extra activities to keep visitors and exhibitors busy throughout three days in Bahrain. These include the following:

MEMAC Conference

BIDEC will host a strategic conference series that will offer a forum for knowledge sharing and will address the biggest challenges in Bahrain and the wider region.

The Middle East Military Alliances and Coalitions (MEMAC) Conference will be chaired by H.E Dr. Sheikh Abdulla Bin Ahmed Al Khalifa and will seek to address many of the challenges facing the region, and the wider global implications. The approach will be both political and diplomatic stressing the importance of military coalitions such as the role of NATO, UN Peacekeeping Operations, The Arabic Coalition in Yemen and the Islamic Military Counter-Terrorism Coalition, with support from the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, and militarily with the region’s military experts and coalition commanders discussing real threats and solutions, stressing the importance of military coalitions operations.

Military Vehicle Demo

Alongside industry partners the Bahrain Defence Force will be demonstrating the latest military vehicle capabilities on a specially designed course. A feature adding great value and excitement to the inaugural BIDEC exhibition.

Shooting Range & Night Shooting Exercise

Delegates and military personnel will have the opportunity for hands-on testing of firearms, ammunition, night-vision equipment and related accessories being introduced to the market at day and night shooting demonstrations. With new products being unveiled these are experiences one cannot get anywhere else.

Warship Display

The BIDEC warship display will give VIPs and visitors alike the chance to examine today’s most technologically advanced ships. Regional and overseas navies are invited to send their warships and crew to proudly display their capabilities at Mina Salman Port. A full list of warships that will be attending BIDEC will be available on the website soon.

Parachute Display

Held in partnership with the Bahrain Defence Force and under the guidance of expert instructors, this feature will give military personnel with the appropriate military free-fall license opportunity to trial the latest parachute systems.

Visitors will be able to access the BIDEC Off-Site Activities by shuttle buses provided from the venue.

Delegates to the above activities will need to be pre-approved to attend the exhibition and all other activities related to BIDEC.
