10-day home quarantine for Indians arriving Abu Dhabi, RAK airports

Those travelling from India to the emirates of Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah’s airports need to meet various conditions including quarantine for 10 days at home.

According to a statement issued by Air India Express, additional requirements for passengers arriving into the UAE’s capital Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah airports must conduct PCR tests on the 4th and 8th day after arrival, while quarantine at home. The passengers must wear a tracking watch during the quarantine period.

According to the circular, other requirements for all passengers travelling to UAE from Indian airport, must show negative RT-PCR test report having QR code, from authorised laboratories with 48 hours validity from the time of sample collection. Rapid PCR test must be done within four hours of departure of the flight at the airport.

They must undergo a PCR test after arrival at the UAE airports. The UAE nationals are exempted from these requirements.

Passengers may report to the airport 06 hours prior to their departure. All passengers departing from UAE to India are required to carry a negative PCR test certificate, with a validity of not more than 72 hours from the time of departure
