At least 26 people were injured Wednesday in a Houthi missile attack from Yemen hit Abha International Airport in Saudi Arabia.

Three women and two children were among 26 people injured in the projectile attack on arrivals hall at Abha International Airport by the Iranian-backed Houthi terrorist militias early Wednesday morning.

Among the injured women, one each is from Yemen, India and Saudi Arabia. The two injured children are Saudis. The airport lounge was also damaged.

The Houthi militias claimed through their media full responsibility for the terrorist attack saying a cruise missile was used. This constitutes a clear recognition and full responsibility for targeting civilians and civilian objects that are subject to special protection under international humanitarian law.

This could amount to a war crime.

This Houthi missile attack also proves the terrorist militia’s acquisition of new special weapons, the continuation of the Iranian regime’s support and practice of cross-border terrorism, and the continued violation of relevant UN Security Council resolutions, including Resolution 2216 and Resolution 2231.
