Gulf Games postponed over COVID concerns

The upcoming Gulf Games, set to be held next month in Kuwait, have been postponed to May of 2022. The multi-sport event was originally slated for January 9 to 19, but it will now take place from May 11 to 21.

The decision was made due to recent developments with the COVID-19 pandemic, and in order to preserve the health and wellbeing of the participating athletes, officials and all those involved.
