WATCH: Saudi Nurse Breaks Down As Forced to Refuse Hug from Son
A heartbreaking video shows a nurse in Saudi Arabia breaking down in tears as he is forced to refuse a hug from his young son because of coronavirus.
The nurse, Naser Ali Al-Shahrani, who is working in a hospital in Riyadh, had just got home when the video was filmed.
It shows the little boy, named Mohamed, running at his father with his arms spread wide before the nurse, who is standing at the front door, makes him stop.
The confused little boy then stands away from Mr Al-Shahrani as the nurse crouches down and starts crying.
Mr Al-Shahrani shared the video in the hope that he can ‘touch the hearts of the people who do not follow the lockdown rules or other precautions, such as avoiding handshakes’.
