Abu Dhabi: Free PCR tests for students till Sept 30
The Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (Seha) on Monday said it has started providing the free Covid-19 PCR nasal swab tests for all students at the selected facilities.
The initiative, which is conducted in cooperation with the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi, aims to deliver a safe return to school roll-out.
The Seha Covid-19 screening centres are open from Saturday to Thursday, 8am to 8pm and on Friday from 10am to 8pm. Walk-ins, without prior appointments, will be allowed for students only.
The National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) had earlier announced that all students of all ages must have a negative PCR test result, taken within 96 hours, at the start of the school year.
