Abu Dhabi: No vaccine appointment needed for children, elderly
Abu Dhabi’s Department of Health (DoH) is providing COVID-19 vaccines for children, senior citizens, as well as those requiring a booster dose, without prior booking at all SEHA vaccination centres.
The following are now available via walk-in at all SEHA vaccination centres across Abu Dhabi: Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccine for children aged 3 to 17, Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine for children aged 12 and above, booster shot and vaccines for senior citizens and residents.
DoH calls upon all parents in the emirate to get their children vaccinated in order to protect the safety and security of the overall community.
DoH highlighted that the booster shot is designed to enhance and strengthen the body’s immunity response against the different contagious strains, especially considering the continuous spread of the virus and emergence of new variants.
