Affordable Luxury Living in the Heart of Dubai: Gulf Court Hotel Business Bay

Gulf Insider stays at the Luxury 4-star Hotel

Dubai has rightfully earned its title as “the city that never sleeps”. The metropolis with its towering skyscrapers and iconic landmarks is a favourite tourist destination. At the same time, it’s home to scores of businesses and commercial activities.

While travellers from Bahrain could visit Dubai for tourism or business, the city offers a lot of grandiose urban infrastructure. Getting stuck in traffic is definitely a way to experience all that makes the city a bustling place. But if you’re one to avoid the long hours in a bottleneck, staying in the middle of things with easy access to attractions and significant landmarks is prudent.

On our visit to the city of lights, we booked a stay at the Gulf Court Hotel. Nestled within the Business Bay area, the 4-star luxury hotel in Dubai frequently hosts travellers from around the GCC. Its ideal location provides a great opportunity to explore downtown Dubai and commutes to major hubs – whether you’re there on business or as a tourist. It is only a 5-minute drive to Dubai Mall and the iconic Burj Khalifa.

For those familiar with the long-established hospitality of the Gulf Hotel Group and the experience it has offered to many of Bahrain’s residents, the property in Dubai provides a slice of Bahrain. It houses restaurants catering to different tastes, well-appointed rooms and suites (over 200 of them), and a private karaoke room among a number of other facilities. The friendly staff’s homely and often comic approach made us feel at home from the get-go.

Walking into the lobby, we were completely taken by the magnificent design of the ceiling, inspired by the rhythmic movements of the ocean waves. The intricately crafted patterns and rippling curves reflected the serene embrace of the gulf. Interestingly, it is also meant to symbolise the hotel’s “ever-flowing commitment” to hospitality and providing guests with a seamless and soothing experience. Needless to say, that accurately describes our weekend stay at the hotel.

The hotel offers a range of facilities for both business and leisure travellers. Guests can enjoy the business centre, gift shop, swimming pool, gym, jacuzzi, sauna, spa, and club lounge. The 270 rooms and suites are equipped with LED TVs with cable channels, free Wi-Fi, writing desks, minibars, electronic in-room safes, iron and ironing boards, hair dryers, bathtubs and showers, as well as coffee and tea-making facilities. In-room dining is also available with all rooms offering a city or canal view.

Food lovers are spoiled for choice with the hotel’s multiple dining options. Café Delices offers coffee and pastries, as well as Middle Eastern and international cuisines with views of the Dubai Water Canal.

Al Waha Restaurant serves an array of international and local cuisines. While Sports On 4 is the ideal place to enjoy mouth-watering bites and thirst-quenching drinks while watching action-packed sports matches on the big screens. The Canal Lounge offers quality food, drinks and entertainment with an awe-inspiring view of the Dubai Water Canal and Dubai cityscape. The Other Office Karaoke provides an open social lounge area with five stylish private karaoke rooms of different sizes.

You could host business meetings right at the hotel if you’re in the city for a short visit and don’t wish to spend a lot of time commuting. The four meeting rooms come with audiovisual technology. Want to host an event instead? These rooms can be transformed by the in-house banquet team.

For travellers seeking a refined experience in Dubai, Gulf Court Hotel Business Bay is an excellent choice. Its central location, comfortable rooms, and range of facilities make it an ideal choice for business and leisure travellers. Enjoy all that Dubai has to offer while staying at the hotel right in the heart of the city!
