Air Arabia will resume Beirut flights starting January 9, the airline announced on Tuesday.

Earlier this month, Air Arabia announced the resumption of Sharjah-Beirut flights from December 18, following a two-month security suspension.
Flight G9 385 will depart Sharjah at 8:00 local time, arriving in Beirut at 10:30, whilst the return service, G9 386, will depart Beirut at 11:10, landing in Sharjah at 16:45.
The decision followed a ceasefire between Hezbollah and Israel that took effect in late November, bringing an end to over a year of heightened tensions. The truce includes measures limiting activities south of Lebanon’s Litani River and strengthening security efforts by the Lebanese Armed Forces, creating favourable conditions for the resumption of normal commercial aviation operations in the region.
Air Arabia, operating a fleet of 79 Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft, had earlier suspended its Beirut services from its Sharjah and Abu Dhabi hubs. Similarly, other UAE carriers, such as Emirates Airline and Etihad Airways, also halted their operations to Lebanon during this time.
