Bahrain: 1175 new COVID-19 cases announced

Out of 18755 COVID-19 tests carried out on 14 April 2021, 1175 new cases have been detected in Bahrain. Among the cases were 416 expatriate workers, 689 contacts of active cases, and 70 travel related.

Ninety-one cases are in a critical condition and 192 cases are receiving treatment. 11211 are stable out of a total of 11302 active cases

There were 931 recoveries from COVID19, increasing total recoveries to 148093.

Two Bahraini men, aged 58 and 64, and a Bahraini woman, 43, died yesterday. This took the total number of deaths to 569. No comments were made on whether they have pre-existing medical conditions.
