Ajman on Thursday announced that concerts and similar events are banned, effective immediately.
The number of attendees at weddings and funerals have been restricted to a maximum of 10 family members, while a maximum of 20 mourners will be allowed at funerals.
Cinemas, fitness centres, gyms, parks and hotel beaches have also been instructed to reduce operating capacity to 50 per cent.
