The Ajman Coordinating Council for Charity Work and Endowments has cancelled all Ramadan tent permits and Iftar gatherings in the emirate.
In an alternative plan to distribute Iftar meals, the council emphasized the necessity for all charitable societies to coordinate with it to determine the number of meals for each site.
It also stressed avoiding the distribution of meals inside mosques and residential neighborhoods, and the need to inform the council about the meal distribution plan from charities and obtain its approval.
