The opening of the first phase of the development project of “Al-Jazayer Beach” will be in the first quarter of 2020, revealed CEO of “Edama” company, the real estate arm of Mumtalakat Holding, Ameen Al-Arayyedh through the company’s official social media accounts and website.
He added that the opening date was selected to coincide with Bahrain’s hosting of the internationally recognized Formula 1 races.
CEO of “Edama” company pointed out that the first stage includes the reclamation of the coast that extends for a distance of approximately 1 km, and the development of a walkway along the coast, in addition to accompanying services such as toilets, restaurants and car parking, which would contribute to providing a high-quality recreation and entertainment environment. He noted that the company has allocated BD32 million to develop the beach in three stages with the first phase to cost BD12 million.
Al-Jazayer Beach” project will contribute a lot to promoting family tourism in the region as it is one of the company’s largest and most important projects and the company desires to develop it up to tourists’ expectations
Al-Arayyedh explained that the development project of “Al-Jazayer Beach” includes several stages, while the second phase of the project will include the construction of hotels on site to serve visitors who wish to spend more time in the coastal resort, in addition to the construction of housing units, stressing that the project receives great attention by the company.
