Alastair Long has Been Appointed as the Next UK Ambassador to Bahrain

Mr Alastair Long has been appointed as His Majesty King Charles III’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain. He will be succeeding Mr Roderick Drummond who will be moving on to another Diplomatic Service appointment according to UK sources.

Mr Long will officially assume his new role as His Majesty’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain in late August 2023.
