Andrew Tate and his brother’s detention extended by Romania court

Andrew Tate and brother Tristan are to remain in custody until 27 February after a Romanian court extended their police detention.

The pair are currently under investigation over claims of sexual assault and exploitation.

The police will continue to build their case on the pair after a judge ruled they will be kept in prison for a further 30 days.

Tate and his brother both deny the allegations made against them.

The reasons for the extension are set to be given in a written statement.

Former kickboxer Andrew Tate has amassed a huge following on Twitter despite being banned from sites including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube for misogynistic comments.

He was arrested last month after his house was raided in Bucharest.

Authorities believe the brothers have been part of an organised crime group that forced women to create pornographic content.
