Anghami becomes first Arab tech company listed on Nasdaq
Anghami announced completion of its business combination with Vistas Media Acquisition Company (VMAC).
The music streaming platform’s common ordinary shares and warrants will begin trading in the US on 4th February 2022, on Nasdaq under the tickers “ANGH” and “ANGHW,” respectively.
Already, shares of Anghami Inc (ANGH.O) soared over 80% in their Nasdaq debut on Friday following the merger.
The first Arab tech company to list on Nasdaq, the Abu Dhabi-based company has over 70 million registered users and partnerships with Universal Music Group, Sony Music and Warner Music Group.
