Bahrain: 128 New Coronavirus Cases Are of Expat Labourers

The Ministry of Health announces the recovery of 15 additional cases and registered 143 new existing cases, including 128 cases of migrant workers.

Meanwhile, thirteen cases are from contacts and two cases are from abroad.

The 128 cases of migrant workers were monitored after 3,288 laboratory tests were carried out during the last twenty-four hours as a part of the pre-emptive campaigns to screen migrant workers in their homes in a number of areas.

Necessary measures have been taken to transfer the existing cases between them to the isolation and treatment centres and to examine and quarantine those in contact with these cases.

Mobile screening units continue to conduct random checks in all regions for all citizens and residents
