The Capital municipality announced removing several violations along the main road in Sitra for obstructing traffic flow and distorting the aesthetic value of the area.

Most of the violations, Municipal officials said, were related to the construction of illegal garages and parking lots in Complex 602.

The campaign in line with the Public Road Works Act continued for a week and ended up removing 17 garages and other violations.

“They were removed for obstruction traffic and distorting the aesthetic value and landscape of the area,” said the municipality.

Officials called on people and residents to cooperate with the authority by correcting the violations as soon as possible to avoid legal actions and fines.

“Violators will have to bear the expenses incurred by the municipality for removing them,” the officials warned.
