Bahrain: 264 Motorists Booked for Loud Exhausts So Far

In line with the efforts to enforce the law and in response to residents’ complaints in residential neighbourhoods, the General Traffic Directorate has taken legal measures against a number of violations.

264 violations of loud exhausts have been seized and 3000 tinting violations have been seized since the beginning of the year.

The Directorate called for the necessity of taking into account the residents privacy, especially in the evening and late times, asking motorists to avoid disturbing them with the loud sounds of vehicles and to adhere to legal speeds in residential neighbourhoods.

Visors or ray-bans that reduces visibility while driving should be avoided.
