Bahrain: 38 Private Schools Slash Fees by 5-23%

38 private schools in Bahrain have slashed fees by 5% to 23%, the Education Minister Dr. Majid bin Ali Al-Nuaimi said as he took part in the Council of Representatives’ remote session today.

The minister said that 38 private schools had slashed fees by 5% to 23%, adding that the majority of schools had agreed to provide facilities for parents, postponing the payment of installments to September 2020.

Undersecretary for Resources and Services Dr. Mohammed Mubarak Juma’a said that the ministry grants schools in advance to cover their urgent and necessary needs.

He pointed out that the ministry had also stopped giving 19 schools financial grants as they did not use the previous ones.
