Bahrain: 468 new coronavirus cases detected from 7,776 tests

Out of 7776 COVID-19 tests carried out on 10 June 2020, 468 new cases have been detected, among which 273 are expatriate workers, 176 new cases are contacts of active cases, and 19 are travel related. 

The Ministry of Health in Bahrain records 378 additional recoveries from Coronavirus (COVID-19), increasing total recoveries to 11,487. 

The Ministry of Health announces the death of a 72-year-old female Bahraini national, a registered active case of Coronavirus suffering from underlying and chronic health problems.

The Ministry of Health expresses its heartfelt condolences to the individual’s family at this difficult time. The patient, along with all other active COVID-19 cases, had been placed in isolation and received extensive 24-hour treatment from a specialised medical team.

 

There are currently 113 cases receiving treatment, of which 14 are in a critical condition. 5,134 cases are stable out of a total of 5,148 active cases.
