Bahrain: 49 New Coronavirus Cases are of Expat Workers

The Ministry of Health in Bahrain announced that the 49 new cases are from expat workers.

Precautionary and preventive measures have been taken for all of their contacts and laboratory tests have been carried out to ensure their safety. The infected workers are now under preventive quarantine.

Existing cases among expat workers were monitored within the pre-emptive campaigns to examine them in their homes. Results show that they did not leave their places of residence in compliance with the decisions of official bodies (in line with the precautionary measures to ensure the health and safety of citizens and residents).
