Bahrain: 59-year old male expat dies of coronavirus

The Ministry of Health announces the death of a 59-year-old male expatriate, a registered active case of Coronavirus (COVID-19) suffering from underlying and chronic health problems.

The Ministry of Health expresses its heartfelt condolences to the individual’s family at this difficult time. The patient, along with all other active COVID-19 cases, had been placed in isolation and received extensive 24-hour treatment from a specialised medical team.

The Ministry of Health announces 366 coronavirus recoveries and 360 new active cases today.

Among the 360 new cases reported today, 220 are expatriate workers and 140 are contacts of active cases.

The Ministry of Health also recorded that 4,292 cases are stable and 7 cases are critical. However, only 28 active cases are receiving treatment and 4,462 cases have been discharged.
