Bahrain: Active cases spike to the highest with 678 new cases

Active cases peak once again at 6,599 the highest since the beginning of the pandemic.

Out of 11840 COVID-19 tests carried out yesterday, 678 new cases have been detected among 111 expatriate workers, 564 new cases are contacts of active cases, and 3 are travel related. There were 627 recoveries, increasing the total to 54,831.


There are currently 34 cases in a critical condition, and 136 cases receiving treatment. 6,565 cases are stable out of a total of 6,599 active cases.
