Adhari park, the renowned and the biggest theme park, will be turned into a house for expatriate workers. This was announced by the Ministry of Interior on its official website and social media accounts.

This decision came in implementation of the directives of the Minister of Interior, Lieutenant General Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, regarding reducing the intensity of expatriate workers in their areas of residence as a precautionary measure within the national efforts to limit the spread of COVID-19.

Governor of the Capital Governorate, Shaikh Hisham Al Khalifa affirmed the capital governorate’s keenness to coordinate with the concerned authorities with a view to reducing the intensity of expatriate workers in their areas of residence, and ensuring that the accommodation process is achieved in accordance with precautionary precautions while ensuring that all amenities are provided during their stay at the temporary headquarters, as well as providing all the equipment and needs, and taking measures of preventive health to ensure their safety.

He explained that the governorate has started defining a plan to evacuate and accommodate expatriate workers.
