Bahrain: An Asian Dies in Hamad Town Car Accident
A 34-year old Asian passed away today morning in Hamad Town after being hit hard by a car. Witnesses stated that the Asian was on his way, near roundabout number 12 in Hamad Town, to cross the street with his bicycle when he was hit hard by a car.
According to the initial details of the incident, witnesses added that the driver, whose identity is still unknown, didn’t apparently see him being busy with his phone.
Traffic police were present at the site and closed the road precautionary to prevent traffic jams until the ambulance car arrived.
The Ministry of Interior, which announced the incident on its official social media accounts, in cooperation with the General Directorate of Traffic stated that they initiated an investigation into the accident to figure out circumstances of the incident.
