Bahrain announces 1,008 new coronavirus cases and 6 deaths

Out of 15,266 COVID-19 tests carried out on 19 April 2021, 1008 new cases have been detected among 379 expatriate workers, 583 new cases are contacts of active cases, and 46 are travel related. There were 1310 recoveries, increasing total recoveries to 153,671.

There are currently 95 COVID-19 cases in a critical condition, and 159 cases receiving treatment. 10,752 are stable out of a total of 10,847 active cases.
