Bahrain Announces 405 New Cases on August 16

Out of 9669 COVID-19 tests carried out on 16 August 2020, 405 new cases have been detected among 160 expatriate workers, 241 new cases are contacts of active cases, and 4 are travel related. There were 322 recoveries, increasing total recoveries to 43128.

There are currently 41 COVID19 cases in a critical condition, and 93 cases receiving treatment. 3496 cases are stable out of a total of 3537 active cases
