Bahrain announces two new deaths, total death toll at 12

The Ministry of Health announces the death of a 53-year-old male expatriate and a 67-year-old male Bahraini national, a registered active case of Coronavirus suffering from underlying and chronic health problems.

These deaths are the 11th and 12th death cases in the kingdom of Bahrain. The Ministry of Health expresses its heartfelt condolences to both the families at this difficult time.

The patients, along with all other active COVID-19 cases, had been placed in isolation and received extensive 24-hour treatment from a specialized medical team.

Currently, a total of 222,542 have been tested and 3,931 active cases have been confirmed, amongst which 3 patients are in critical condition. To date, 2640 patients have been discharged and 12 deaths have been confirmed.
