Bahrain approves BD20 child subsidy
The House of Representatives yesterday approved a bill that grants a monthly BD20 allowance for each child of every head of a Bahraini family.
The subsidy will be given to the beneficiaries under the condition that the number of children does not exceed four.
The House of Representatives Finance Affairs Committee stated that the proposal would cost the state about BD60 million annually.
