The High Criminal Appeals Court has adjourned the plea hearing in the case of a 40-year-old man accused of attacking police officers, who went to his home to arrest him.
The defendant is said to have been wanted in connection with a case and an arrest warrant had been issued against him.
He, however, resisted his arrest and attacked the police officers using handcuffs. It is said that the suspect caused various injuries to the police officers. He was earlier sentenced to one year behind bars, but he appealed the verdict.
