Bahrain: Baker gets 15 years for selling drugs

The High Criminal Court has sentenced an Asian man to 15 years in prison for peddling drugs. The court also ordered his deportation after completing the prison terms. Another person implicated in the case for consuming drugs received a jail term of three months.

Police retrieved from the suspect eight hashish-stuffed cigarettes and another 50 from his house. During interrogation, the suspect confessed to his crimes. Police officers had also suspected the involvement of another man in the crime, as he was abetting the suspect.

However, it later turned out that he was only consuming The court, therefore, awarded him a lighter punishment.
