Bahrain: Ban on Single-Use Plastic Table Rolls Starting July

The Supreme Council for Environment (SCE) has stated that importing and producing disposable plastic table mats and covers will be banned starting from next month.

This is part of the country’s second phase of banning non-biodegradable plastic items, which was discussed at an online meeting between officials from the Industry, Commerce and Tourism Ministry and the Supreme Council for Environment.
