Bahrain: Beware Of Rotten Fish Being Sold, 150kgs Of Putrid Fish Seized
The inspectors took necessary procedures in coordination with the Food Control Section of the Ministry of Health to destroy the rotten fish that was seized

A total of 150kgs of rotten fish was seized at the Manama Central Market according to the Marine Control Department at the Undersecretary for Agriculture and Marine Resources.

The department revealed that the incident came to light during their regular inspection campaign of local markets.

The inspectors took necessary procedures in coordination with the Food Control Section of the Ministry of Health to destroy the rotten fish that was seized.

Citizens and residents have been urged to check fish and meat prior to purchasing for their safety as well as report any violations to authorities.
