In a dramatic rescue yesterday, Civil Defence, in collaboration with the Coast Guard, swooped in to save three individuals from a boat engulfed in flames near the Shaikh Issa Bridge in the marine area.

In a display of swift and coordinated action, the officers battled the raging fire aboard the vessel.

Despite the dire circumstances with flames threatening to consume the boat and smoke obscuring the sky, the responders wasted no time in confronting the inferno head-on.

Amidst the chaos, the Coast Guard’s vessels navigated skillfully through the waves, swiftly evacuating the occupants to safety on the nearby coast.

On land, the National Ambulance team was on standby, ready to provide immediate medical assistance upon the survivors’ arrival.

Miraculously, despite the harrowing ordeal, all individuals emerged unscathed, with their health conditions reported as stable.
